EFFICIENCY AND CREATIVITY: HOW AIM AND AIMS HAVE SUCCESSFULLY FACED THE VOLCANO’S CLOUD
The dramatic scenes in the European airports and stations will be remembered for a long while: this
AIM and AIMS had groups of delegates throughout the world, as it happen every week, and its staff showed an uncommon problem-solving capability: our clients were really impressed by our effectiveness, as some of them wrote in a very friendly letter: “You were able to arrange a charter flight for us out of Toronto within 20 minutes! Well, there is no much more we can say then, WOW”
For example, for the attendees of two congresses in Naples and Palermo we reserved any kind of vehicles, ferries, hydrofoils, trains, coaches and cars: it was not so simple, but finally everybody could reach their home safely and quickly, thanks to the great effort of our staff.
A similar solution has been provided for our clients attending EAU Congress in Barcelona: a super comfortable coach left Barcelona in the evening and reached Milan on the following morning, exactly as the Barça football players that were expected in Milan for the Champions League match…
Finally we used technology as well to overcome the volcano’s cloud.
Many European speakers were involved in a medical congress in Vilnius: in a couple of days our project managers provided a video streaming connection linking four European cities

IFAC WORLD CONGRESS IN ITALY FOR THE FIRST TIME: 2.500 SCIENTISTS COMING FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WILL MEET IN MILAN IN AUGUST 2011!
Graziano Dragoni, the General Director of the Milan's Politecnico Foundationï and Patrizia Semprebene Buongiorno, AIM Congress Managing Director, recently signed the contract concerning the organization of the 18th International Federation of Automatic Control World Congress: it will be held in Milan, half a century after the first memorable congress of Moscow.It is the forum of excellence for the exploration of the frontiers in control science and technology, attended by a worldwide audience of scientists and engineers from academy and industry. Milan Congress will be held next year at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, from the 28th of August to the 2nd of September, and many cultural initiatives involving the city and the institutions will be organized during the meeting.

FLORENCE WELCOMES THE FIRST SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS WORLD CONGRESS
The 1st Systemic Sclerosis World Congress, managed by AIM Group, has been attended, in February, by an unexpectedly large number of participants, over 1.300, coming from all over the world.Under the chairmanship of Professor Matucci Cerinic, of Florence University, over eighty high level international speakers exhausted the topics with a multidisciplinary approach that involves orthopaedics, cardiology, pneumathology and other medical specialisms.The Mayor welcomed speakers and delegates in Palazzo Vecchio, the city hall, well known symbol of Florence, during the opening cocktail that was greatly appreciated, in particular, by the foreign guests.
