| BjÖrn Folkow Award and Lecture The Björn FoIkow Award has been established in 1987 by the ESH with the
generous collaboration of AstraZeneca in recognition of the contribution made by Björn FoIkow to cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology. The Award was established by ESH in 1995 to honour a scientist with a life
long high quality scientific research in the field of hypertension. It wilI be presented to the recipient in the PIenary Session of June 17. Honorary membership is given to a scientist who has made extraordinary contributions to research in hypertension or who has given exceptionally important support to the activities of ESH. Travel Grants for European Investigators, with limited financial resources, whose abstracts have been selected for either oral or poster presentation. European Investigators Accommodation Grants The European Society of Hypertension wilI also provide a hundred of Accommodation Grants to those participants with limited financial resources, whose abstracts have been selected for either oral or poster presentation. |
